Summary

This position will report to the Area Zone Sr Field Leader and will be responsible for schedule adherence for Gas Distribution Field Operations.  Will be responsible for getting the crews out to the work site and the overall site check process to ensure that the crews are able to complete the scheduled work.  Will be responsible for reporting out any incomplete jobs and addressing why those jobs were not field completed by the crews. Will schedule overtime for crews working on customer commitments and report out to the Zone Manager and other stakeholders any work that is incomplete.  This position will provide occasional work direction in the absence of a Field Leader AND direction to the work scheduler for emergent work and regular schedule changes. This position is responsible for all customer on time commitments.  Will work collaboratively with cross-functional organizations to meet metrics associated with Customer on Time Delivery.

 

This position is a process owner for the T-0 schedule and field execution and is a combination of a Field Leader and a Scheduler.  This position will not have any direct reports and will not be able to change a work schedule, however, will be able to direct crews and work schedulers if needed.

 

 Responsibilities

  • Align and coordinate internal and external resources to execute the prioritized T-0 workload that meets financial and performance targets.
  • Lead Start of Day and End of Day calls
  • Consult with Field Leaders & Schedulers on T-0 Work Plans.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report to management schedule adherence, workload reports, OQ, Tableau reports and ARCOS
  • Maintain visual management
  • Resolve coordination discrepancies between SAP and schedule misses
  • Directs work activities to meet established work plans
  • Completes Safety and Quality Site visits
  • Direct crews in the absence of Field Leaders and approve OM&C overtime if needed.
  • Direct local work scheduler’s for emergent issues
  • Oversee the site check process and ensure the effectiveness of the site check
  • Exception management relating to work site readiness
  • Fill out proper forms for the site check process (form 1575)
  • Coordinate planned outages.
  • Respond to complaints and requests for information, prepares and maintains reports of completed job orders and the status of COTD (Customer on Time Delivery) job progress.
     

Requirements

  • 1 or more years of utility experience in Scheduling, Planning, or Field Operations.
  • Functional knowledge of gas operations schedule adherence, activities, and practices.

Essential Functions
This position will align and coordinate with various stakeholders within Electric and Gas operations to meet the requirements of schedule adherence and customer on time delivery.  This position will be accountable for any missed customer on time delivery dates and ensure that all work missed is entered back into the schedule for field completion.  This position will oversee the site check process to ensure the effectiveness and ensure no barriers so the schedule can be completed.  This position will ensure that crews get to the job site in a timely manner with field devices fully loaded.  This position will create a line of sight around schedule adherence and customer commitments.
 
Hours and Travel
This position requires the individual work 40 hours per week with 90% of time spent in the office or specific field locations.
