The Role

The Experience Delivery Specialist plays a key role in designing and delivering our most important customer-facing technology initiatives. As Experience Designers refine solutions and execution plans are ready to begin, you take the driver’s seat, allowing the design team to move on to the next big challenge while you lead a successful implementation. The Experience Delivery Specialist should expect to quickly become the “go to” project leader of a cross-functional team responsible for all aspects of project implementation and launch.

Depending on the scope of what’s in development, the Experience Delivery Specialist may manage multiple projects. This role works very closely with internal and external resources, and partners with Information Technology counterparts throughout the project lifecycle. By fully understanding the customer priorities for each project, and by having easy access to the experience design and business owner clients, this role is able to quickly provide direction and make the important decisions necessary to keep fast-moving projects on track and on budget.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Become established as a trusted project delivery expert across business and Informational Technology teams, as well as with key executive leaders
  • Able to lead large cross-functional teams and external agency partners through technology project design, implementation, testing and delivery using both waterfall and agile development methodologies.
  • Be able to bridge IT and business requirements, facilitating practical solutions that adhere to or improve upon company standards and ultimately balance the needs of all project objectives.
  • Contribute to business case development and represent customer experience team priorities during backlog grooming activities.
  • Establish strong, collaborative relationships with key business partners, including Digital, Information Technology, and Customer Experience leaders.

  • Demonstrated success at contributing to a positive, collaborative, innovative culture
  • Demonstrated expertise at leading major technology and process-related projects
  • Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience

    • Remote: Must be Michigan-based
    • In Person (as health/safety protocols allow): Occasional presence at Jackson, Michigan Innovation Center may be required;  25+ Michigan locations are available for use at employee discretion.
    • Field (as health/safety protocols allow):  Various customer locations, primarily for research and testing activities
