Location: This position is onsite at the Lansing Service Center located in Lansing, Michigan.  The selected candidate must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Scheduler is responsible for the coordination, scheduling and support of daily work and planning of resources specific to the assigned business unit.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform business unit specific tasks as needed; may include various reporting and taking appropriate action, identifying training opportunities, creating standards, etc.    
  • Support emergent matters with the business unit’s processes/procedures; may include escalations, volume monitoring, etc.   
  • Utilize various systems to monitor work, create/submit orders and requests, observe data and make scheduling adjustments as necessary.
  • Some roles may require a deeper dive into data review to make appropriate modifications.    
  • Communicate effectively with supported business unit processes/procedures; may include interacting with supervision, field operations, or other operational supporting groups.   
  • Establish and execute a daily plan for the work; may include organizing and dispatching assignments, facilitating meetings, short-range forecasting, etc.   
  • Other duties as assigned or may be necessary.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Associate degree in Business or related with two (2) or more years of experience in scheduling, customer facing, and exposure to data and reports
    • (OR) High School Diploma/GED with four (4) or more years of experience in scheduling, customer facing, and exposure to data and reports
