This role will be within the Investor Relations department and report to the Director.  The role will include all aspects of IR, including and most importantly communicating directly with investors and sell side analysts.  In addition, the role will be heavily involved in the earnings call process and execution.  Finally, this role will help support, and at times, lead IR marketing efforts in the U.S. and potentially abroad.

  • Communicate with the investment community - phone calls, Teams/Zoom meetings, and in-person meetings and discussions regarding the financials, strategy, and latest business updates of the company.  Many times this communication will be 1x1 and unscheduled but essentially to the role.  This could impact personal time, such as evenings, weekends, and vacations.
  • Lead marketing efforts - Currently, IR does not physically travel because of COVID-19 restrictions; however,  at some point in the future, travel will resume.  A primarily responsibility of this role will be to coordinate and execute marketing efforts domestically and abroad.  This includes ensure all travel details, investor meetings, and the in-person support of those  meetings
  • Support the earnings call - the efforts to produce the various material as well as the execution of the call is a team effort.  The entire IR team and other members of finance help to make the earnings call a success.  This role will be a critical member of that process and learn, support, and ultimately be responsible to see that those tasks get done at the highest level.
  • Support various IR activities - given the nature of IR and the dynamics of the market as well as the company, there are many requests for information that could ultimately be used by/for the CEO, CFO, or BOD.  This work is not predictable but does take time and effort to be sure of the accuracy and is highly scrutinized.
  • Support IR material (documents, back up files, etc.) - much of the content used by IR to support investor communications comes from the business units and SMEs.  At times there is new information to track down and fully vet but more often periodic follow-ups to check with the various SMEs to see if there is an update.
